Portfolio Issue Summary — 717K+ issues across 228 domains by severity

What It Shows

The Portfolio Issue Summary is the entry point for the Technical SEO module. It aggregates all Screaming Frog crawl findings across 228 NKP client domains into a severity-tiered summary.

Current snapshot:

  • 717,000+ total issues across all crawled domains
  • Severity breakdown: Critical / Warning / Notice
  • Top 10 domains by open critical issue count
  • Portfolio-wide issue trend (week-over-week total)

Severity Tiers

Screaming Frog issues are mapped to three severity tiers:

  • Critical — broken links (4xx/5xx), missing canonical, duplicate title tags — these directly impact rankings and user experience
  • Warning — redirect chains, large images, missing meta descriptions, near-duplicate content — should be addressed in the next sprint
  • Notice — informational flags (orphaned pages, missing schema) — backlog items

How the Summary Is Used

The portfolio summary is reviewed in the weekly technical SEO team standup. The top offending domains list drives prioritization — the team addresses the highest-critical-issue domains first, especially for high-tier accounts.

The week-over-week total trend line confirms whether the portfolio's overall issue count is trending down (work is being done) or up (new issues are being introduced via client site changes).
