Visibility Score Trends — weekly composite scores per client

What It Shows

The Visibility Score Trends view plots the week-over-week composite visibility score for each client across both models. Two trend lines are shown per client: one for ChatGPT, one for Gemini, both on a 0–100 scale.

The view spans up to 12 weeks of history, giving a clear picture of whether a client's AI search presence is growing, stable, or declining.

What Causes Score Changes

Visibility scores change for several reasons:

  • Model updates — OpenAI and Google periodically update their models, which can shift how brands are referenced even without changes to the brand's actual online presence
  • Content publication — new blog posts, press coverage, or updated service pages improve a brand's training data footprint over time
  • Competitor activity — if a competitor publishes authoritative content, it may displace the client in responses
  • Query expansion — adding new queries to the library changes the denominator, which can lower the composite score even if raw mentions increase

Using Trend Data

The trend chart is the primary asset for client-facing AI search reporting. Account managers export it as a screenshot for quarterly business reviews, showing clients their AI visibility trajectory and the impact of recent SEO work.

A consistent upward trend over 8+ weeks is considered a strong positive signal for AI search optimization efforts.
